Currently building the security engineering function at a regulated crypto custodian; previously led Azure cloud adoption at an FTSE 250 bank and trained over a thousand engineers along the way.

Where I've worked

2025 →
Cloud Security Engineer Komainu Building the security engineering function end-to-end — identity governance, SIEM, and security-as-code for a regulated digital asset custodian.
2024–25
Senior Cloud Engineer Komainu First cloud engineer at Komainu. Rebuilt the Azure estate in Terraform, designed the multi-region AKS platform, and restructured the entire RBAC model. Designed the Azure platform around zero-trust principles.
2017–23
Senior Software Engineer Investec Bank Tech lead across regulated banking platforms. Led Azure cloud adoption and designed a workshop that trained over a thousand engineers across the UK and South Africa.
